New Words

Words I’d like to see added to the English language (Copyright 2011):

1) Humanimal: An animal that exhibits “human” qualities (the Chesire Cat in Through the Looking Glass); or that kills for pleasure; and/or that physically resembles humans in some way, e.g., a horse with a man-face; a man with a horse face. A human that exhibits ‘animal’ qualities, such as a werewolf, or someone who eats raw meat. Centaur. Goat-man.

2) Uni-Verse: Poetry that contemplates and/or reflects on the integrated nature of being. Not necessarily rhyming, or sing-songy.
