I think it's going to be incredibly difficult to get people to start seeing that Capitalism and Democracy As We Know It (DAWKI) are one and the same, and that the democratic principals we idealistically try to apply to contemporary socio-politico-economic conditions just aren't going to work until we do. These concepts must be simplified in some manner so that the least educated and aware among us can clearly see and come to understand the relationship between Capitalism and DAWKI  is the true state of the nation, and anything less is likely to be cheese fed to mice who willingly walk into the trap of believing and acting upon the one-sided (either side) party propaganda.
